Good Ideas

EATS

  1. Start the day off with a grapefruit and cup of green tea. This will help eliminate coffee dependancy (uhhhhhh, I don't know anybody addicted to coffee...)
  2. Try to eat five different fruits a day and make sure it includes grapefruit and apples.
  3. Salmon and halibut make good entrees and brown rice as a side.
  4. Buy a juicer (or ask for one for Christmas). You can make all kinds of different combinations of healthy stuff with it!
  5. Spinach - Although I'm not a fan it's allegedly good for you, just not creamed!
  6. Oatmeal! Suggestion of stirring in Parmesan cheese has been made. Interesting....
  7. NO white flour, sugar, or junk food.
  8. Chefs Diet is getting great reviews. Check out the link, again, interesting.....

ACTION

  1. Incorporate working out through the day within your daily routine.
  2. Do crunches while sitting on the couch and watching TV.
  3. Park further away when going to shop so you have to walk a little more.
  4. Do a few pushups before getting in the shower in the morning.

PARTY FOOD (Eat something BEFORE going to a party)

  1. A salad with some chicken in it is fast and easy.
  2. Eat some yogurt before you go.
  3. Bring some protein bars with you while you're out. This way if you're at a party or shopping you can eat that instead of the "junk" options.
